Holiday parties and decorating can create challenges for your contractual cleaning services. If you can, be sure to give your janitorial staff a calendar with any known parties your company may be having so that they can be prepared and continue to provide you with seamless service.
Although winter is still a few weeks away, we have already had some snow and ice to contend with. To help your janitorial staff maintain your carpets and flooring be sure to have plenty of walk-off mats in place. A walk off mat outside of each entrance will go a long way in keeping the salt outside where it belongs. Just a reminder now for the spring; call your cleaning service providers to get your strip and wax and carpet and window cleaning scheduled now. When the snow and ice is gone; and the salt has taken its toll on your flooring; you will be ahead of schedule with your facility.
