Members of the Lafayette High School student council in Lexington, KY, have been collecting donations for custodian Devi Adhikari. While Adhikari has been working at the high school since 2009, much of his family is still in Nepal, which was ravaged bytwo deadly earthquakes in the past month, according to a story on WKYT.com.
No one in Adhikari’s family was killed in the earthquake that hit on April 25, 2015, but their home was destroyed.
